On the question for allowable expenses, why on the answers has the fridge not been included. My understanding was that if it was a replacement it could be included less the £50.00 she sold the old fridge for. Have I miss understood this.

With regard to allowable expenses on a property, what if someone built a property in their garden, e.g. a log cabin including small kitchen, shower room etc then rented it out as a b & b. Would the materials used to build the dwelling be an allowable expense?
