Mike ran his own bookkeeping practice in Oxford from 2003 to 2013. He employed 5 bookkeepers, with two offices and he franchised the business model (A1 Financials) in 2000. Mike eventually sold his practice to a firm of accountants. He then extended his voluntary work for the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers to become a senior employee, where he was 'Head of Member Development' in 2014. Whilst at ICB many of you will know Mike for his initiatives and action, where he was instrumental in establishing the supportive 'Buddy scheme' and launching the Practice Builder programme amongst many other initiatives. In 2015, after mentoring a number of Bookkeepers, Mike co-founded the Bookkeepers Alliance to continue his passion in supporting bookkeepers in the development of their own business.

The Practice Improvement Programme will take you on a journey over the 12 weeks, exploring your business, looking at proven strategies and best practice to provide you with numerous initiatives to implement in your business immediately and make those improvements that you desire in 2017.
